ABOUT Cheesy Honey Ravioli RECIPE

Ravioli are perhaps the perfect kind of pasta. It can be served as an appetiser, paired with sauces as the main course, or fried up for a dessert. Here I have also tried ravioli as a dessert.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. All purpose flour 1 2/3 cups
  2. Sugar 1/3 cup
  3. Eggs beaten 2
  4. Cheese pecorino 3/4 cup (coarsely grated)
  5. Olive oil 4 tablespoon
  6. Honey 6 tablespoon
  7. Cinnamon powder 1 teaspoon


  1. Place the flour and sugar into a small bowl and mix well.
  2. Add the eggs and stir with a fork ti gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the eggs to form a dough.
  3. Turn out the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently until smooth.
  4. Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 3mm.
  5. Use a 8 cm round cutter to stamp out 24 rounds.
  6. Divide the pecorino between 12 of the dough rounds.
  7. Brush the edges with water and top with the remaining rounds, pressing the edges to seal.
  8. Heat the oil in a skilet until moderately hot, then fry the 3-3 ravioli in 4 times for 2 minutes o each side, until golden.
  9. Place the ravioli in a plate and sprinkle cinnamon powder on it.
  10. Gently warm the honey in a small saucepan and drizzle over the ravioli.
