  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • Cooked amaranth 1/4 cup
  • Sabja or basil seeds - 4 tsp + for garnish
  • Milk - 3 cups
  • Nuts of your choice (almonds, cashews, hazelnuts) - a small handful
  • Flax seeds (roasted) - 2 tsp
  • coconut (shredded) - 2-3 tsp
  • honey - as per taste

How to make Sabja Breakfast Bowl

  1. Take two deep bowls and divide the oats, amaranth and sabja among them.
  2. Add enough milk to completely cover the ingredients and then some more.
  3. Cover the bowls and refrigerate overnight.
  4. Next morning, add honey as per taste.

My Tip:

The cereal will swell while resting overnight, so add a bit more milk than you think is necessary.
