It took less than half an hour for me to make almost 30 numbers of wontons. Needless to say how fast they vanished.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups - chicken (breast pieces & grind as bit coarse paste)
  2. 1 tsp - ginger (grated)
  3. 2 tbsp - Chopped spring onions
  4. 1 - egg white
  5. 2 tbsp - Light soya sauce
  6. White pepper - 1/2 tsp
  7. salt - 1 tsp
  8. 2 tbsp - Corn starch or corn flour
  9. 30 - Wonton wrappers
  10. For the sauce: 1 tbsp - Hot water
  11. 2 - tbsp - Sriracha chilly sauce
  12. 2 tbsp - Sesame oil
  13. sugar - 1 tsp
  14. Soya sauce - 1 tsp
  15. 1 tsp - vinegar


  1. Take the minced chicken, mix with grated ginger, chopped spring onions, soya sauce, salt, white pepper, egg white, corn starch in a bowl, in one direction until everything gets well mixed.
  2. Place a wrapper in your hand, place a teaspoon or tablespoon of filling and fold it to make a rectangle.
  3. Dab water on the left corner, push the middle inside and bring the right corner to the left corner, seal it tightly.
  4. In a pot, bring boil enough water, once the water starts boiling, put 10 wontons and stir gently. Once the wontons start coming to the surface of the water, they are cooked.
  5. Remove it from the water and put in a bowl.
  6. Meanwhile mix all the ingredients given under the list for sauce, add enough sauce to the cooked wontons and serve immediately. Enjoy these wontons, a prefect appetizier.
