Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 250 grams button mushrooms
  2. 1 large onion diced
  3. 10 cloves garlic chopped finely
  4. 1/2 cup cream
  5. 1 teaspoon butter
  6. 1 teaspoon olive oil
  7. salt to taste
  8. Black pepper powder to taste
  9. 6 slices of whole wheat bread
  10. olive oil to drizzle on toast


  1. Clean and slice the mushrooms .
  2. Heat oil and butter in a pan, add the garlic and onion. Saute for two minutes
  3. Add the mushrooms and cook for sometime.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste
  5. Cook for two minutes and add the cream.
  6. Cook till dry. Remove from heat.
  7. Toast the slices of bread. Drizzle olive oil on it.
  8. Cut the bread slices into four squares or rounds as you prefer. Should be bite size.
  9. Put the mushroom topping on each square and serve.
