ABOUT Coconut Peanut Chutney RECIPE

Goes well with idli dosa, uttapam vada

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Grated coconut 1cup
  2. Roasted peanuts 1/2cup
  3. Garlic 3-4
  4. Green chillies 2
  5. Tamarind pulp 3tbsp
  6. oil
  7. Dry red chilli 2
  8. Mustard seeds 1tsp
  9. Cumin seeds 1tsp
  10. Curry leaves 5-6
  11. Satl to taste
  12. Water as required

Instructions

  1. Grind peanuts
  2. Add grated coconut, green chillies, salt, garlic, tamarind pulp to ground peanuts. Grind it
  3. If required, add required water and grind to make a fine paste
  4. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dry red chillies and curry leaves. Let it crackle. Add this to the paste
