ABOUT Oats Cranberry Cookies RECIPE

The cranberries give a hint of sour with sweetness that adds a distinct flavour to this textured cookie.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 100 grams Butter soft
  2. 30 grams White Sugar
  3. 100 grams Brown Sugar
  4. 100 grams Flour
  5. ½ teaspoon Baking Soda
  6. 1 Egg
  7. ½ teaspoon Vanilla Essence
  8. 120 grams Rolled oats
  9. 50 grams Dry Cranberries

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and sugars till light and thick, add the vanilla essence, mix, add the egg and whisk for a minute or so.
  2. Sift the flour and the baking soda, in a separate bowl, mix the cranberries and rolled oats.
  3. Use a wooden spoon to blend the wet and dry ingredients to make a stick, thick dough.
  4. Grease or line a cookie sheet, drop heaped tablespoons of dough, give an inch and a half of space for cookies to spread.
  5. Flatten gently and bake at 180 degree Celsius for 8-10 minutes till cookies are firm and light brown.
