ABOUT Crispy Noodle Bomb RECIPE

An evening snack with bomb like shell made with noodles filled with tastefully cooked vegetables

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boiled noodles 1 cup
  2. Boiled mashed potatoes 1 cup
  3. Garlic finely chopped 1 teaspoon
  4. Green chilli 2-3
  5. Carrot 1 piece
  6. Green capsicum 1 piece
  7. Onion 1 piece
  8. Cabbage 1/4 cup
  9. Soya sauce 2 teaspoons
  10. Vinegar 2 teaspoons
  11. Tamato sauce 2 teaspoons
  12. Black pepper as per taste
  13. salt as per taste
  14. Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoons
  15. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. For stuffing -
  2. Finely chop all the vegetables.
  3. Heat 2 teaspoons oil in a pan.
  4. Add chopped garlic, green chillies and saute.
  5. Add onions and saute it for 2 minutes
  6. Add carrot, capsicum and cabbage and saute it .
  7. Add salt, black pepper as per taste.
  8. Add soya sauce, tomato sauce and vineger and saute it for few seconds. Then switch off the gas.
  9. Keep this stuffing aside to cool.
  10. For Preparing Noodle Bomb -
  11. Take boiled mashed potatoes and add salt (As per tatse) and red chilli powder and mix it well.
  12. Make a roll of mashed potato dough. Spread evenly on your palm. Keep a tablespoon of filling over this.
  13. Slightly close all the edges and make a round ball.
  14. Now cover this ball with boiled noodles from all the side.
  15. Press it gently so it may not open during frying.
  16. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry these balls on medium flame till colour of noodles turn golden brown.
  17. Garnish the noodle bombs with grated cabbage and carrots. Serve it with tomato sauce and green chutney.
