Khandvi Lasagna

Ingredients to make Khandvi Lasagna

  • besan 1cup
  • Curd 1cup mixed with 1cup water
  • 2 drops of lemon juice
  • 2 tsp ginger green chilli paste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 pinch of hing
  • salt
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 3 tsp oil
  • 1/4 spoon hing
  • 5-6 curry leaves
  • 2 Green chillies finelly chopped
  • Grated coconut 2 tsp
  • Grated carrot 2 tbs
  • Grated beetroot 2 tsp
  • coriander leaves
  • coriander chutney
  • garlic chutney
  • Cherry tomato
  • Lettuce leaves

How to make Khandvi Lasagna

  1. Combine besan, curd, water and mix salt, hing, ginger chilli paste, haldi and make batter.whisk it well so that there are no lumps
  2. Cook on a slow flame while stirring continuously till it becomes thick.
  3. Grease a Thali on the reverse side and spread spoonful of the batter on Thali and wait for a while then cut squares of three sizes. Prepare khandvi with the remaining batter
  4. First take largest piece of khandvi and spread green chutney on it and spread beetroot, salt pepper over it.then layer it with another piece and spread garlic chutney on it then spread carrot with salt pepper and then layer it with the smallest piece and garnish with coconut.
  5. Tempering- heat oil, add mustard seeds, hing and then add curry leaves and green chilli and temper khandvi. Garnish with lettuce, carrots and cherry tomato
