ABOUT Badami ( almond) Tofu Cream Kebab RECIPE

It is a healthy dish . It is not overly spicy. I made a few changes in the regular recipe and made the healthier version

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Tofu crumbled -1 cup
  2. Almond blanced and peeled-1/4 cup
  3. Cream -4 tbsp
  4. Cornflour -2 tbsp
  5. Potato boiled -1
  6. Green chilli -3
  7. Mint leaves
  8. Corianderleaves
  9. Grated fresh coconut -2 tbsp
  10. Boiled carrots and corn ( optional) 1/4 cup
  11. Butter-1 tbsp
  12. Onion -1 finely chopped
  13. Oil to shallow fry
  14. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Take tofu and little water and blend in a mixer to a thick mixture. Transfer to a bowl, add the bread slice and mash well. Keep aside.
  2. Heat the ghee in a kadhai, add onions and saute till the onions turn golden brown. Add the prepared mixture and salt and cook till the mixture leaves the sides of the kadhai.
  3. Remove from the flame, add the cream, coriander ,mint leaves ,boiled corn and carrot mix well.
  4. Whisk cream . Mix grated coconut with l cream.Add a little salt and mix well. Divide the mixture into 10 equal portions and shape each portion into a flat round and stuff with coconut cream mix roll make kebabs
  5. Roll each kebab in bread crumbs so that the kebabs are evenly coated from all sides.
  6. Fry and Serve hot with onion rings and curry Patta chutney
