Mouthwatering and lipsmackingly beautiful pan grilled chicken tangdi. Perfect for a dinner party when the temperature outside drops and makes you crave for something hot and delicious.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Chicken tangdi whole 14
  2. Hung curd 1/2 cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Tandoori masala 1 tbsp
  5. Chilli powder or green chilli paste a tbsp
  6. Cumin powder a tbsp
  7. Coriander powder a tbsp
  8. Garam masala a tbsp
  9. Turmeric 1/2 a tsp
  10. Ginger garlic paste a tbsp
  11. Olive oil 5 tbsp
  12. Sumac (Arabic spice 2 tbsp)
  13. OR
  14. Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  15. Onions, whole green long chillies and bell peppers also to grill

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with all the spices ,2 tablespoon oil and hung curd as well.
  2. Refrigerate it overnight for the best results.
  3. OR
  4. It requires a minimum of 2 hours to seep in the flavours and the chicken gets juicy and succulent.
  5. Just before grilling, sprinkle some dry parsley flakes.
  6. Arrange them in a double griller pan with the veggies too.
  7. Add about 2 to 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  8. Cover it and cook until done. It usually takes 30 minutes.
  9. Keep the flame medium and monitor it closely.
  10. Keep checking now and then.
  11. Flip the pan onto the other side lifting it up very carefully and taking care not to spill anything over you.
  12. Serve them hot with butter naans
