Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Maida/All purpose flour - 1 cup
  2. Oil - 2 to 3 tbsp
  3. Salt 1-2 tsp
  4. Potatoes - 4 to 5 medium size boiled and mashed
  5. coriander powder - 1 tbsp
  6. Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  7. Amchoor powder - 1 to 2 tsp
  8. Garam masala - 1 to 2 tsp
  9. Salt as per taste
  10. Oil to fry

Instructions

  1. Mix maida/flour, oil and salt in a bowl very well by your hand to make a BREAD crumb like mixture.
  2. Add water to make a dough. It should not be very hard. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  3. Take mashed potatoes in a bowl, mix all the masalas and salt into it and mix well again.
  4. Take 1-2 tbsp oil in a pan, add jeera to it. Now add potato mixture into it. Mix it well and let it cool.
  5. Make rotis of the dough. Slightly big, spread potato mixture all over the roti evenly. Start rolling from one end till you get a pipe like figure. Close its ends.
  6. Now cut rolls into 1/2" inch and press it gently in between your palms.
  7. Press that lightly in your palms
  8. Deep fry these spirals on a medium flame
  9. For Garlic chutney: grind coriander leaves, Garlic cloves, green chili, salt and black salt to a fine paste, then add lemon into it.
  10. Yummy spiral Rolls with tangy garlic chutney is ready to be served!!!
