Waffles (eggless)

Ingredients to make Waffles (eggless)

  • 1+1/2 cup maida ( or you can use half maida and half aata)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3-4 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp oil or melted butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • a handful of choco chips
  • Maple syrup/ honey/ Hershey's chocolate syrup for dressing
  • Chopped strawberries or other fruits of your choice

How to make Waffles (eggless)

  1. In a bowl, mix the milk, oil, vanilla extract, brown sugar and beat well.
  2. Sift the flour and the baking powder into the above mixture and fold well.
  3. Preheat the waffle iron while you prepare the mixture. Add the choco chips and fold them in gently.
  4. Grease the waffle iron and pour the mixture into it. You know its done when the light turns green !!
  5. Enjoy with chopped fruits and dressing of your choice!

My Tip:

You can also make chocolate waffles in the same way by adding cocoa powder.
