It is a twisted version of dal especially for egg lovers

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Sabut masoor 1 1/2 cup
  2. Eggs 2
  3. Onion chopped 1 medium
  4. tomato chopped 1 medium
  5. Green Chilli chopped 1
  6. Haldi 1/4tsp
  7. Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp
  8. Garam masala 1/4 tsp
  9. Rock salt 1/4 tsp
  10. salt as per taste
  11. oil for cooking
  12. Water for boiling

Instructions

  1. Soak dal for an hour and then boil it in a pressure cooker adding haldi and salt to it.
  2. Beat eggs in a bowl , add pinch of salt and chilli powder.
  3. In a pan fry the above egg mixture. Scramble it and keep aside.
  4. In the same pan add 1/2 tbsp of oil. Saute onions, garlic till they turn light brown.
  5. Add tomatoes and chopped chillies and let the tomatoes turn mushy.
  6. Add red chilli powder and garam masala and saute for a minute.
  7. Add boiled dal and scramble eggs and let it cook for two minutes.
  8. Sprinkle a bit of rock salt. Mix well.
  9. Garnish with coriander and serve hot with rotis.
