ABOUT Kiwi Custard Pudding RECIPE

A very simple dessert that can be made in less than half an hour when you have the readymade creme caramel mix. I have used agar agar for making the kiwi jelly.You can also use gelatin instead of agar agar.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. creme caramel pudding mix - 1 packet
  2. Milk - 500 ml
  3. ripe kiwi - 2
  4. water - 1 1/2 cup
  5. agar agar - 5 gm
  6. sugar - 2 tbsp


  1. Heat milk in a pot and slowly stir in the pudding mix without forming any lumps.
  2. Let it boil and simmer until it thickens.
  3. Take your dessert bowl and empty the contents of sugar syrup in the bowl.
  4. Pour the custard into the bowl and let it set.
  5. Meanwhile, add agar agar to water and heat it until it melts.
  6. Scoop the flesh of ripe kiwi and mash it with a fork.
  7. Add in sugar and keep aside.
  8. When the agar agar solution gets completely melted, stir in the mashed kiwi.
  9. Add in a drop of food colour if you prefer.
  10. Let it cool. When it is about to set, it starts solidifying. At that time pour it over the set pudding and refrigerate for 1 hr.
  11. Serve chilled.
