Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Chicken 400 gms with bone
  2. 2 tbsp oil + for deep fry
  3. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  4. 2 tsp red chilli powder
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 2 tsp coriander powder
  7. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  8. 1 tsp cumin powder
  9. 1 tsp black pepper powder
  10. 2 tbsp lemon juice
  11. 1 egg
  12. 3 tbsp corn flour
  13. 1 tbsp all purpose flour
  14. 1 cup Yogurt
  15. 3 Dried Red Chillies
  16. 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  17. 2-3 green chillies slit
  18. 1/2 tsp chopped ginger
  19. 6-8 curry leaves
  20. 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  21. 1-2 tbsp red chilli paste
  22. 1/4 cup chopped spring onions (green)

Instructions

  1. Heat sufficient oil in kadai for deep fry.
  2. In a bowl add chicken pieces,ginger garlic paste,1/2 tsp red chilli powder,salt,coriander powder,turmeric powder,cumin powder,pepper powder and lemon juice 1 tbsp.
  3. Marinate and keep for half an hour.
  4. Then add 1 egg into it.
  5. Add corn flour and flour.
  6. In a heated oil deep fry the chicken until crisp and golden.
  7. Now in bowl add in yogurt.
  8. Add remaining chilli powder and little corn flour and mix well.
  9. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok.
  10. Chop dried red chillies diagonally.
  11. In heated oil splutter mustard seeds and add red chillies.
  12. Then add curry leaves,green chillies,chopped ginger,garlic and stir for 30 seconds.
  13. Then add chilli paste and yogurt mix.
  14. Cook for 10 min.
  15. Then add the chicken pieces and spring onions.
  16. And toss well.
  17. Serve hot.
