ABOUT Kiwi Mango Pannacotta In Jars RECIPE

It is an Italian dessert made by simmering together cream, milk, sugar, mixing this with gelatin and desired flavour, set it cool it and relish it.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Whole Milk 1 Cup
  2. Granulated sugar 1/4 cup
  3. Amul cream 1.5 cups
  4. Vanilla pod 1
  5. Gelatin 1 tbsp (soaked in 4 tbsp water for 5 mins)
  6. Cubes of ripe mango 1/4 cup
  7. Cubes of kiwi 1/4 cup
  8. Americolour Green gel colour
  9. Mango pulp 1/2 cup
  10. Gelatine for the mango jelly 1tbsp
  11. Castor sugar for the mango jelly
  12. Tinned red cherry for decoration

Instructions

  1. Heat milk, cream and sugar in a pan. Heat it till it just comes to a boiling point. Cool to room temperature.
  2. Dissolve the soaked gelatine on the double boiler till the gelatine dissolves and add to the above mixture. Now divide the mixture into two parts.
  3. Prepare the mango jelly by heating mango pulp and sugar and bring to the room temperature. Now to this cooled mixture add soaked and dissolved gelatine as described above. Let it cool. To one part add kiwi and green colour for just a tinge of green. Tilt a 200ml glass jar by resting on a bowl pour the kiwi mixture with kiwi cubes and let it set. After it is set pour the mixture with mango cubes and keep it straight for setting. Once it is set then pour the mango jelly on top and set it again.
  4. Decorate it with a cherry on top.
