Rava Dosa

Ingredients to make Rava Dosa

  • semolina 1 cup
  • Rice flour 1/2 cup
  • green chillies finely chopped 2
  • onion finely chopped 1
  • salt to taste
  • cumin seeds a tsp
  • ginger grated a tsp
  • coriander leaves finely chopped 3 tbsp
  • curry leaves a fistful chopped
  • water 2 cups

How to make Rava Dosa

  1. Mix all the ingredients to form a pouring consistency batter.
  2. It should be a very thin batter.
  3. Keep this undisturbed for 15 mins atleast and after that start making the dosas.
  4. Remember that you don't have to spread it like the normal dosa. Instead you have to just pour the batter starting from the corners to the middle.
  5. Add the oil from the corners and some in the centre.
  6. Wait until it turns crisp from the lower side.
  7. Make all the dosas similarly.
  8. Serve with any pickle. You actually don't need anything to go with this. It is too good on it's own.
