Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Yellow moong soaked 1 1/2 cups
  2. Rice soaked 1/2 cup
  3. Salt a tsp
  4. Green chillies chopped or chilli flakes a tbsp
  5. Ginger grated a tsp
  6. Coriander leaves chopped a fistful
  7. Onion chopped 1

Instructions

  1. Grind the dal and the rice using minimum water. It is better to soak them overnight. If not, then soak them for 3 hours.
  2. Mix all the ingredients in the batter except the onions.
  3. Spread a ladleful of the batter in the centre on the griddle in a clockwise fashion just like you do for a normal dosa.
  4. Pour a tsp of oil on the sides and let it cook for 2 minutes.
  5. As soon as it cooks on the lower side. Flip it over and let it cook for 1/2 a minute on the other side too.
  6. Add a tbsp of chopped onions to the cooked dosa and serve.
  7. Make all the dosas similarly and enjoy with any chutney of your choice.
