Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1⁄2 cup butter
  2. 1 cup sugar
  3. 2 eggs, beaten
  4. 4 bananas, finely crushed
  5. 1/4 cup chocolate chip
  6. 1/4 cup crushed walnuts
  7. 1 1⁄2 cups flour
  8. 1 teaspoon baking soda
  9. 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
  10. 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  11. 1 cup powdered sugar
  12. 2 tsp cold milk

Instructions

  1. In a stand mixer cream together butter and sugar, until it is light and fluffy.
  2. With help of fork mash ripe banana. Add eggs and crushed bananas mix well.
  3. Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Add to mixture. Add chocolate chips , walnuts and vanilla essence also and with help spatula mix well.
  4. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan sprinkle few chocolate chip and walnuts on top.
  5. Preheat the oven at 180 degree C.
  6. Bake at 170 degrees for 35-40 minutes or till wooden skewer comes out clean.
  7. To make sugar glaze; take sifted powdered sugar in a bowl and take a tsp of cold milk and whisk well. If required add additional tsp of milk, the glaze should not be very thick.
  8. When the bread cools down de mould it let it cool on wire rack. Drizzle the sugar glaze on top of the Banana bread.
  9. Banana bread ready to serve.
