Ingredients to make Zebra Ladoo

  • 2 cups besan (gram flour)
  • 1 cup clarified butter( ghee ). add more, if required
  • 4 green cardamoms powdered
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 or 2 tablespoon golden raisins
  • 1/2 cup rava
  • 200 gm melted chocolate

How to make Zebra Ladoo

  1. Heat ghee in a pan add besan and suji. Roast them on slow flame for about 11-12 mins. Keep on stirring continuously right from the beginning. so that the besan is not burned and so that there is even browning.
  2. After 10-12 mins the besan would start giving a nice aroma and ghee will begin to separate
  3. Once you get a strong nutty fragrance then switch off the fire.
  4. Remove the pan from the stove and keep down. Add powdered sugar.
  5. Stir well so that no lumps are formed. Add the powdered cardamom and raisins. you can also add chopped dry fruits at this stage. stir well.
  6. once you have mixed the besan ladoo mixture well then let it cool down to room temperature.
  7. Make a small ball of besan ladoo dip this ball in melted chocolate. keep it in the fridge . Take it out after 5 min again cover this ladoo with besan mixture and then again dip this ladoo in melted chocolate. Refrigerate them for 5-10mins. Cut it in half or serve whole.

My Tip:

Dip ladoo in chocolate with the help of a fork.
