Gajar Ka Halwa

Ingredients to make Gajar Ka Halwa

  • carrot 1 kg
  • ghee 1 tbsp
  • Milk 1 liter
  • sugar 250 grm
  • cardamom powder 1 tbsp
  • raisins 1 tbsp
  • cashew 25 grams
  • almond 10 grams

How to make Gajar Ka Halwa

  1. Wash , peel and grate the carrots.
  2. Heat the ghee in a deep pan , add the carrots and saute for 2-3 mins
  3. Add the milk ,mix well and cook on a high flame till the milk is absorbed totally .
  4. Add the sugar mix well ,and saute till the ghee leaves the bottom of the vessel .
  5. Add the cardamom powder and 2 tbsp of ghee mix well and add raisins , almonds, cashew. Mix well and cook for few minutes.
  6. Garnish with cashew and almonds .
  7. Serve hot or cold.
