ABOUT Christmas Cake RECIPE

Rich fruits and chocolate base, Brownie gift pack with gold disco dust and Snowman with sweet little chocolate cap, softy cone cake tree, Strawberry Milk chocolate trees. Milk chocolate green grass, candied peel orange spreads and cake mountains with snow. Decorated with Oreo and strawberry.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 1/2 cup self raising flour+ 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  2. 1 egg
  3. 1 cup powdered sugar
  4. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  5. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  6. 100 gm butter at room temperature
  7. 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  8. 1-2 big tablespoon milk and as per consistency
  9. 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  10. 1 bowl mixed dry fruits- walnuts, raising, black currant
  11. Whipped cream
  12. Rum for soaking
  13. 4 tablespoons cocoa powder
  14. 1/2 cup chocolate - melted
  15. Gold disco dust - edible
  16. For strawberry trees-
  17. 1 big size strawberry
  18. Milk chocolate
  19. 1/2 teaspoon Green colour and as required for tree colour
  20. Colour sprinkled colour candy stars, fruits and balls
  21. For Christmas Trees-
  22. 1 Softy cone

Instructions

  1. Take all ingredients on room temperature
  2. First, if you are like soaked all dry fruits in luckwarm Rum for 2-3 hours before making cake
  3. Preheat microwave on 180 degrees
  4. Strain flour, coco powder, baking powder and baking soda together at least two times.
  5. Beat butter and sugar together until fluffy than add egg and beat again until fluffy or lemonish colour.
  6. Now add vanilla essence, milk apple cider vinegar and beat.
  7. Than add mixed flour in 2-3 batches slowly. Don't mix well
  8. Now batter divide in two part in raito 1 1/2 : 1/2
  9. In big part add chopped dry fruits and mix it in batter just fold.
  10. Shift it in greced round cake tin. Tap it for two time.
  11. And other one, mix 2 spoon of melt chocolate and shifft in small size tin for make decorating part
  12. Keep both tin in same time for baking for 15-20 mins.
  13. Check the cake of cooked or not by toothpick test.
  14. Meanwhile baking, make strawberry trees. Melt 3 spoon milk chocolate and one spoon cream. Add green colour as required, mix and dip strawberry in this mixture. Keep for cooling and after that decorating with star, fruits and balls of color candy. Keep aside
  15. Rest of chocolate use for grass, spread on plastic sheets by spoon. Use after cooling.
  16. If cake is cool-Now making mountain- cut small size of cake in mountain shape and decore with whipped cream. Keep aside
  17. For gift box ...cut same cake in box size shape, dip in dark chocolate ganache, keep for cooling and in last make ribbon shape by gold disco dust.
  18. For Snowman...
  19. Cut cake in balls, dip in melted white chocolate. Keep for cooling, make two balls- big and small
  20. Make a cap for snowman with chocolate. As you like round and square.
  21. Make 5 dark chocolate dots and hand for snowman with plastic chocolate cone. After cooling add all parts of snowman as like snowman.
  22. For Christmas Trees.....take a cone and fill with cake. Take whipped cream add green colour as you like tree colour. Mix well and fill this mixture in a decorating nozzel pipe. Rest of cream spread on cone and pipe the cream round-and-round all side of cone like a tree. Sprinkle color candy on this.
  23. Now make a base of cake. Coat with whipped cream and assemble all decorating part of cake on it according to your choice. Like where will trees, mountain and snowman.
