Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Canned Peach Halves 2 pieces (I used Del Monte Peach Halves)
  2. Honey 2 tbsp
  3. Butter 3 tbsp
  4. Cinnamon powder 1 tsp
  5. Thin Roasted vermicelli 1 cup
  6. Condensed Milk 3 tbsp
  7. Pistachios (crushed) 2 tbsp
  8. Cardamom (crushed) 1/4 tsp
  9. salt 1/4 tsp
  10. Fresh cream 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Slice the peach halves to thin slices of about 1/2 inch thickness. Keep them aside.
  2. Melt 1 tbsp butter in pan. Add in the honey and cinnamon powder.
  3. When the mixture begins to bubble, carefully place the sliced peaches on them. Let it cook for about 5 minutes in low-medium flame.
  4. Then turn the sides and cook until they are well coated with honey mixture, and the color turns to a fabulous brown.
  5. Switch the flame off and allow to cool completely.
  6. Meanwhile, prepare the sweet baskets/bird's nest. For this melt 2 tbsp butter in another pan.
  7. Add in the roasted vermicelli. Saute for about 2 minutes.
  8. Next add in the crushed pista, cardamom and salt. Mix well. Saute for a minute.
  9. Now add the condensed milk, starting from 2 tbsp. keep mixing, until everything comes together.
  10. Add a spoon more of condensed milk, if required. Now switch the flame off.
  11. Take 3-4 tartlet cases. Grease with butter.
  12. Now place 2 tbsp of the vermicelli mixture on each case. With the back of a greased spoon press it to form an even base.
  13. Once vermicelli nests and the glazed peaches are cooled down completely, it is time to assemble.
  14. Put 1-2 tbsp of fresh cream in each of the baskets. Top it with 2-3 slices of glazed peaches.
