Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For gujhiya - 1 cup maida
  2. 1 cup nicely diced mix fruit (Apple, chickoo, peaches etc)
  3. 2 tsp Brown sugar
  4. 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  5. 1 and 1/2 pinch cinnamon powder
  6. Milk or water(optional) for kneading as required
  7. 5 tbsp caster sugar
  8. 3 tbsp milk for glaze
  9. For dip - 1 cup mango pulp
  10. 3/4 cup cream
  11. For garnish - chocolate sauce and whipped cream

Instructions

  1. In mixing bowl add fruit,brown sugar, cinnamon powder and butter and mix well.
  2. Now take maida and knead a dough for making Gujiya. Roll out a small chapati, fill up with fruits. Seal the edges.
  3. Now, bake it in a preheated oven at 190 to 210 degrees C for 20 to 25 min or until light brown in colour.
  4. In other bowl mix caster sugar and milk and dip this gujhiya one by one in it and again keep it in the oven for 10-15 mins
  5. When it cools you can see the crystals on the crust
  6. Heat sauce pan add mango pulp and cream in it and switch off stove and mix it well.
  7. Serve it simple. Gujhiya with cream mango pulp dip and a dollop of whipped cream and chocolate sauce.
