ABOUT Chickpea Salad With Mint Dressing RECIPE

One of the most nutritious beans - chickpeas are rich in iron, protein and folic acid. Addition of curd increases the protein content and mint it's vitamin content.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. chickpeas soaked overnight 2 cups
  2. salt 1/2 tsp
  3. Black pepper 1 tsp
  4. Low fat curds or olive oil 1 tbsp
  5. coriander and mint leaves chopped 1/2 cup
  6. tomatoes 2 chopped
  7. Spring onions a small bunch
  8. lemon juice 1 tsp (optional)


  1. Boil the chickpeas with salt and drain.
  2. Make the dressing by blending the coriander mint and curd or olive oil.
  3. Add the black pepper.
  4. Toss all the ingredients until well combined.
  5. Healthy salad is all ready. Low calorie and yummy as well.
