ABOUT Yogurt Fruit Parfait RECIPE

Lite food packed with plenty of protein and heart-healthy fats to give you all day energy. Creamy, lightly sweetened, satisfying, bursting with flavor of berries.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1/2 cup plain Vanilla yogurt
  2. 1/4 tsp teaspoon Vanilla essence
  3. 1/4 cups Raspberries
  4. 1/4 cup Blueberries
  5. 1/4 cup Blackberries
  6. 1/4 cup Strawberries
  7. 2 tsp chopped Walnuts
  8. 2 tsp chopped Almonds and Raisins
  9. 1/4 tsp Flax seed
  10. 1/4 tsp Pumpkin seeds
  11. 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  12. 1/2 tsp Honey
  13. 3 tsp Cornflakes

Instructions

  1. Take a glass which is big enough and which works really well for layering the parfaits.
  2. First layer spoon half the yogurt mixture into the bottom of the glass.
  3. Add some cornflakes, chopped walnuts, chopped almonds raisins, flax seed, pumpkin seeds and honey.
  4. Take some berries you can use fresh fruit also, I choosed half fresh fruit and half frozen fruit it works great for parfaits because they melt in the fridge and create a yummy berry sauce that gets mixed in throughout the entire parfait.
  5. Top with fresh strawberries again sprinkle a couple tablespoons of other berries on top of the nut mixture then begin again with yogurt.
  6. Repeat the layers until all ingredients have been used.
  7. Top layer would be some nuts, vanilla essence, cinnamon and some cornflakes. Serve immediately.
