ABOUT Beef steak with potatoes RECIPE

This delicious steak and potatoes are a food pair with a fusion of flavours that blend beautifully together.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 450 grams beef sirloin
  2. 2 medium sized potatoes cut into french fries shape
  3. 1 medium onion cut into thick rings
  4. 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  5. 2 tablespoon olive oil
  6. Freshly ground black pepper
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Handful of coriander leaves finely chopped to garnish

Instructions

  1. Wash and marinate the beef with a mixture of lemon juice and freshly ground black pepper. Let it marinate overnight.
  2. Before you start cooking, let the meat rest for an hour at room temperature. Note to keep aside the marinade for later.
  3. Take a pan and heat the oil in it, then fry these steaks on a medium flame.
  4. Let it cook for 7-8 minutes while turning in between.
  5. Move the beef to a plate and keep aside.
  6. Pour oil into the pan and fry the onion rings till they are slightly brown and tender.
  7. In a separate pan, add oil as required and deep fry the fries shaped potatoes.
  8. Serve warm with a side of french fries and a garnish of coriander, onions and marinade drizzled on top of the steak.
