ABOUT Horse gram salad RECIPE

Horse gram is one of the effective pulse varieties that helps to reduce weight. This horse gram salad is very easy to prepare and will be a good filling meal.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Horse Gram 1/2 cup
  2. Onion 1(Finely chopped)
  3. Tomato 1(finely chopped)
  4. Salt as required
  5. Lemon 1/2
  6. Pepper powder 1/8 teaspoon
  7. Coriander leaves(finely chopped) a handful

Instructions

  1. Wash and Soak horse gram in water for 4 to 5 hrs or overnight.
  2. Boil the horse gram in 2 cups of water with little salt. Pressure cook will be easy and time saving. After it is cooked , drain and Don't discard the water. We can use the water to make soup.
  3. In a bowl mix onion, tomatoes ,coriander and little salt and mix well.
  4. Then add the cooked horse gram and mix.
  5. Add lemon juice and pepper powder. Mix well and serve.
