I have christened this healthy and nutritious smoothie bowl a fancy name to trick my brain in believing I am having dessert for breakfast ;)

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Half Cup dry roasted oats
  2. 1 Frozen banana
  3. 1 cup almond milk
  4. 1 whole orange including juice and pulp
  5. 1 tablespoon Raw Cacao Powder. If that is not available you can replace it with unsweetened Cocoa. Both are different but would work.
  6. 1 tablespoon malt extract (It is sweet and extremely malty, so if you don't like the taste you can use honey).
  7. Half tablespoon Maca Powder
  8. Fresh fruits for garnishing. Berries and or orange would be an ideal combination with Chocolate.


  1. Dry roast Oats on low temperature until golden brown.
  2. Add Almond milk, Maca Powder, Cacao Powder, Malt Extract, Orange pulp and juice, to a blender.
  3. Now add frozen banana and oats to the blender. If you want, you can also add ice cubes.
  4. Blend until smooth.
  5. Garnish with your favourite fruits. (I have added red currants and Orange).
  6. If you are a Chocolate fanatic like myself add more Cacao nibs and roasted oats as garnishing.
