Ingredients to make Paneer Makhani

  • paneer 250 gms
  • tomatoes 5 chopped
  • ginger 1"piece chopped
  • Seeds of Green cardamoms 2 crushed
  • butter 2tsp and oil 2tsp
  • sugar 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • cloves 2
  • Cinnemon piece 1
  • Garam masala 1/2tsp
  • Degi mirch 1/2 tsp
  • tomato ketchup 1tsp
  • Magaz or cashewnuts 4tsp soaked in 1/4 cup water & ground paste
  • Kasoori methi 2tsp
  • Milk 1cup
  • cream 3-4 tsp

How to make Paneer Makhani

  1. Microwave tomatoes and ginger, onion, cloves and cinnamon in a deep dish with 1/2 cup water for 5 minutes.
  2. Blend tomatoes paste to a puree in a mixer.
  3. Microwave butter /ghee for 2 minutes, add illaichi powder mix add salt sugar red chilli powder and garam masala mix add fresh tomato puree and tomato ketchup mix very well microwave for 8 minutes stir once in between.
  4. Add magaz paste and kasoori methi mix well add 1/2 cup water microwave for 3 minutes.
  5. Add paneer and mix well add milk to get a thick red gravy and microwave for 3 minutes.
  6. Add cream, sprinkle coriander leaves on top and serve hot.
