ABOUT Microwave or Baked Whole Fish RECIPE

This is a whole baked fish when brought to the table with head and tail intact is a visually dramatic and incredibly tasty dinner party main course.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Whole fish 1
  2. salt as per taste
  3. Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  4. Garlic 4 cloves chopped
  5. Olive oil 1 to 2 tbsp
  6. Thin slices of tomato 6-7
  7. Thin slices of lemon 6
  8. Thin slices of onion 6-7
  9. Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
  10. Coriander Powder 1/2 tsp
  11. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  12. Fish fry masala 1 tsp
  13. Lemon juice 1 tsp
  14. Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  15. Aluminium foil for baking.

Instructions

  1. Clean the fish and give a cut to make a pocket to fill. Also give 3 cuts on both the sides of the fish , so that the marination goes inside .
  2. Now take aluminium foil , keep the fish on it.
  3. Grind coriander leaves,garlic,lemon juice,red chili powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder,fish fry masala,salt,black pepper powder to a smooth paste.
  4. Now add oil to it. And put this paste inside the pocket of fish, also apply on both the sides of the fish properly.
  5. Now keep two pieces of each tomato ,onion,lemon under the fish. Similarly also keep the slices of tomato,lemon,onion inside the fish and also on the top of it.
  6. Microwave it at high temperature for about 8 minutes. Or Wrap it and bake it at 180 degree c for 20 minutes.For microwave cooking do not use aluminium foil place the fish in a microwave safe bowl.
  7. Remove on a serving plate and enjoy hot.
