Ingredients to make Coconut cookies

  • maida 1 cup
  • powdered sugar 1/2 cup
  • butter 1/2 cup
  • cardamom powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • baking powder 1/2 teraspoon
  • desiccated coconut as required

How to make Coconut cookies

  1. sieve in the maida and baking powder
  2. pre heat oven to 180 degrees centigrade for 10 to 15 minutes
  3. in a big plate take butter and add powdered suagr to it
  4. cream the butter and sugar until smooth with your palm
  5. add in the cardamom powder and sieved maida
  6. make it as a smooth dough without adding in any milk or water
  7. if u cream butter and sugar properly you will not need any liquid
  8. now make a gooseberry sized balls out of the dough
  9. roll it in the desiccated coconut
  10. arrange them on the greased baking tray
  11. bake at 180 degrees centigrade for 20 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown
  12. let the cookies to cool completely to firm up

My Tip:

the bakery master said for rose essence or vanilla essence but i used cardamom powder

Plz tell the exact quantity of coconut also..as baking is successful if done with great precision ...so plz ...tell how much coconut to be used
