Red Masala Fish

Ingredients to make Red Masala Fish

  • Fish fillets 500 gm
  • lemon juice 1 Tbsp
  • Grind together:
  • whole red chilies-soaked in vinegar for 1 hour 2-3
  • vinegar 2 Tbsp
  • besan (dry roasted) 2Tbsp
  • garlic - chopped 1 Tbsp
  • onion - chopped 1/4 cup
  • salt to taste
  • cloves 4
  • peppercorns 4
  • cinnamon - broken to small pieces 1TSP
  • javitri 1/2 inch

How to make Red Masala Fish

  1. Marinate the fish in the ground paste and lemon juice for an hour.
  2. Place a saucer like plate in a dish.
  3. Arrange the fillets over it, with the thicker pieces outwards.
  4. Cook uncovered at HI for 8 minutes in a microwave oven, turning the fillets half way through. Brush with oil .
  5. Transfer fillets into a serving dish. And serve with salad and dip of your choice.
