Spongy and tangy dhokla is an authentic gujrati dish but this time I made it even more healthier for dieters..with the usage of wheat flour..and just 1tsp of oil...

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheatflour 1cup
  2. Curd 1cup
  3. Semolina 2tbsp
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
  6. Fruit salt/eno 1tsp
  7. Water as needed
  8. Mustard seeds
  9. Karipatta
  10. Greenchilli
  11. Oil 1tsp
  12. Ginger garlic paste 1/4tsp

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl add wheatflour semolina curd salt turmeric powder mix add water make a thick batter
  2. Keep aside for 15 mins
  3. After 15 mins add fruit salt mix so well
  4. Pour this batter to a greesed plate
  5. Steam it for 15 min.then check with toothpick
  6. If done turn off the gas and let it cool down
  7. For tempering heat oil in a tadka pan add mustard seeds curry leaves green chilli
  8. Pour this tadka over dhoklas cut in to pieces and serve with sauce or chutney
