Ingredients to make Aloo Fingers

  • chick pea flour(besan) 250gms
  • Rice flour 2tbsp
  • red chilli powder 2tsp
  • salt 2tsp
  • salt half tsp
  • potatoes (medium) 4
  • water
  • Chaat masala
  • oil (for deep frying)

How to make Aloo Fingers

  1. Cut potatoes into thin and long rectangular shapes . Make sure they are not thick,or these shall remain uncooked
  2. Mix chickpea flour,rice flour,salt,red chilli powder and make a thick batter with help of water
  3. Soak potato fingers in batter
  4. Heat oil in wok til hot
  5. Slowly drop the fingers into oil til dey turn golden brown
  6. Transfer them to serving tray and sprinkle chaat masala on it
  7. Serve hot with tomato or tamarind sauce

My Tip:

You may use amchoor instead of chaatmasala
