ABOUT Palak paratha RECIPE

Winters are here and lots of green leafy vegetables are available,so here is a simple recipe with spinach which can be given to kids in tiffin or made for breakfast.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Spinach-1 cup chopped
  2. Wheat flour-2 cups
  3. Ginger-1/2 inch pc
  4. Garlic-4 -5 cloves
  5. Green Chilli-1
  6. oil-2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Boil chopped spinach for 5 minutes.Then drain and pour cold water to retain the colour.
  2. Add boiled spinach,garlic,ginger,green chilli and grind to a fine paste.
  3. Mix this paste with flour.Add salt and 2 tsp oil.Knead the dough just like chapati dough.
  4. Roll parathas like roti and put on tawa.Turn when some brown spots appear.Add oil to this surface and again turn after lower side is properly cooked and roast like parathas.
  5. Serve with tomato ketchup,curd or homemade butter.Kids will love it.
