Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Mutton qeema - 1/4 kg
  2. Onion - 1 medium finely sliced
  3. Potato - 1 medium washed peeled and cut into cubes
  4. Tomato - 1 small chopped
  5. Yoghurt - 2 tbsp
  6. Cardamom -2
  7. Cloves -2
  8. Bay leaf - 1
  9. Cinnamon stick - 1 one inch
  10. Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  11. Coriander seeds - 1/2 tsp crushed
  12. Green chillies - 2-3 finely chopped
  13. Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
  14. Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
  15. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  16. Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
  17. Salt - to taste
  18. Oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a kadhai and fry the potatoes till it starts turning brown. Remove
  2. In the same oil add cardamom, cloves, bay leaf, cinnamon, cumin seeds and green chilli. Saute for few seconds
  3. Add onions and fry till they turn translucent
  4. Add qeema and saute on high heat till it starts changing colour. It will take few minutes
  5. Add ginger garlic paste and tomatoes and cook till oil separates
  6. Lower the flame and add whisked yoghurt, garam masala powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt.Cook for another 5-6 minutes
  7. Add the fried potatoes and mix again
  8. Add 1 cup water and bring to a boil
  9. Cover and simmer till it is fully done
  10. Serve with roti/phulka/rice
