Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 300 gms mushrooms
  2. 2 onions chopped
  3. 2 tomatoes chopped
  4. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  5. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  6. 1 tbsp chilli powder
  7. 3-4 tbsp oil
  8. salt to taste
  9. Chopped coriander For garnishing
  10. spices to roast & grind
  11. 1 small piece cinnamon
  12. 1green cardamom
  13. 3 cloves
  14. 1 small bay leaves
  15. 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
  16. 1/2 tsp jeera
  17. Small piece of stone flower/ daagar ka phool
  18. 12 cashews
  19. 3 tbsp dessicated coconut/ fresh one
  20. 1 tsp oil

Instructions

  1. Saute all the ingredients. (Except coconut n cashews) till you feel nice aroma Of spices
  2. Dont over fry,it will taste bitter
  3. Grind sauted spices ,coconut &cashews to a smooth paste
  4. In a kadai heat oil,saute onions till it turns translucent
  5. Now add chopped tomatoes n cook tillit turn mushy
  6. Now add ginger garlic paste, masala paste,chilli powder, turmeric powder &salt
  7. Saute it till oil separates
  8. Now add mushrooms n saute for 3-5 minutes
  9. Now add 1/2 cup water n simmer it for 5 minutes
  10. Garnish with chopped coriander
  11. Serve with parathas ,rice,dosa
