Ingredients to make Chocolate cake

  • For cake...
  • One cup _ refined flour
  • 4 tabl spoon _ coco powder
  • 1 tea sooon _ baking powder
  • 1/4th tea spoon _ salt
  • 1 cup _ plain buttermilk
  • 1 cup _ powdered sugar
  • 1/2teaspoon _ baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon _ vanilla essence
  • 1/4th cup _ refined oil
  • For chocolate grenache...
  • 100 gm _ dark cooking chocolate
  • 125 gm _ fresh cream

How to make Chocolate cake

  1. Seive all the dry ingredients together exept baking soda.
  2. In another bowl take butter milk, add powdered sugar and dissolve the sugar completely .
  3. When sugar get dissolved, add baking soda and leave it for five min or until it starts bubbling.
  4. Add vanilla essence
  5. Add all the dry ingredients and fold in properly.
  6. Now add the oil and mix
  7. Now pour it in a microwave proof ,greased glass dish and microwave it on high for four to five min. Once the cake is cooked, let it get cooled down completely.
  8. Now for the ganache, Microwave fresh cream in a glass bowl for two min.
  9. Take it out and add chopped chocolate , mix until all the chocolate melts.
  10. Now slice the cake into halve. Take one of the halves and pour some ganache ,spread it .
  11. Now put the top layer and pour rest of the ganache over it.
  12. Garnish it with some fresh cream

My Tip:

Cool down the cake completely before cutting and icing.
