ABOUT Kurukuri dosa(Instant) RECIPE

This is the instant version of a very crispy dosa and there is no need of fermentation at all. Delicious and easy recipe to follow.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Raw rice - 1 cup
  2. Urad dal - 1/2 cup
  3. Grated coconut - 1 tbsp
  4. Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  5. methi seeds - a few
  6. Chopped curry leaves - a few
  7. salt to taste
  8. oil


  1. Soak raw rice and urad dal together for 2 hours. Grind to a coarse paste with rava like consistency.
  2. Add salt to the batter.
  3. Season with mustard, methi and curry leaves. Add grated coconut.
  4. Heat a pan. Drizzle a few drops of oil. Pour a ladle full of batter and spread in circular motion.
  5. Once roasted flip the dosa and roast the other side too.
  6. Serve hot with any chutney.
