Ingredients to make Bread & chole

  • Boiled chick peas 50 gm
  • cinnamon powder - 1/4 th tsp
  • black pepper powder - 1/4 th tsp
  • red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric powder - 1/4 th tsp
  • coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
  • ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  • salt
  • brown bread - 2 slices
  • coriander leaves [handful]
  • refined oil/butter

How to make Bread & chole

  1. Soak and boil the chickpeas and keep aside.
  2. Heat some butter in a pan, lower the flame and add chilly powder followed by turmeric powder and ginger & garlic paste, give it s stir.
  3. Now add rest of the ground powdered maslaas, salt and mix it well.
  4. Add the boiled chick peas, give it a good stir, cover the lid and cook for 6-7 minutes, add very little water if the masalas ten to burn.
  5. Now take a brown bread, spread the cooked chole, garnish with some coriander leaves, and serve.

My Tip:

Make it more healthy with green tea added with honey except sugar
