ABOUT Mutton Chops Masala RECIPE

Spicy Juicy Lamb Chops cooked tender in spicy gravy, to be served with some naan or some jeera rice.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Tender lamb chops 10 -12
  2. 1 large or 2 medium onions finely chopped
  3. Ginger Garlic paste 2-3 tsp
  4. Whole spices peppercorn 4-5
  5. Cloves 4-5, Dalchini 1" green cardamom 4-5, Black Cardamom(badi ilaychi) 2-3
  6. Dhania and jeera powered 2 tsp each
  7. Everest mutton masala powder 2 tsp
  8. Turmeric powder 2tsp
  9. Chilli powder 2-3tsp. (According to taste)
  10. Curd 1 cup
  11. Tomatoes 2-3 chopping
  12. Potatoes 1-2 medium cubed
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate lamb pieces with curd ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder for 30 min .Heat oil in a pressure cooker(2-3tbsp)
  2. Add whole spices and fry for 1min. Saute onions till golden brown . Add the ginger garlic paste & Saute for 1 minute .
  3. Add all powders and saute for 1 minute . Add curd and saute till oil separates. Add lamb pieces and saute till it changes colour Add enough water and pressure cook for 15-20 mln on low flame
  4. After mutton is cooked transfer it to Kadhai . Add tomatoes potatoes and salt. Simmer on low flame till the water evaporates and curry thickens
  5. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves
