Ingredients to make Mutton curry

  • Mutton 500 gms
  • For marination :
  • curd 1 tbspn
  • chilly powder 2 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Other Ingredients :
  • onion 2 chopped
  • Whole spices : [Cardamom, bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, whole black peppercorns ]
  • ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • coriander leaves as per requirement
  • tomato sliced 1
  • Red chilly powder 1 + 1/2 tspn
  • salt as per taste
  • Meat masala 1 tsp

How to make Mutton curry

  1. In a cooker, heat oil. Add the whole spices.
  2. Prior to the above step, marinate the mutton with curd, and all masala for 2 hours or overnight.
  3. When the whole garam masalas splutter, add chopped onion. When it becomes brown add ginger garlic paste.
  4. Cook ginger garlic until it become brown.
  5. Then add tomato n cook until it become soft and mushy.
  6. Then add red chilly powder, salt and meat masala
  7. Cook until when oil comes out. Then add marinated mutton.
  8. Cook it for 15 mins. Then add 1 cup water.
  9. Cover the lid n cook for 2 whistles.
  10. Then when done garnish with coriander leaves .
