ABOUT Prune and Appricot pudding RECIPE

This is a sure shot recipe that one needs to try if they are trying to eat healthy but at the same time want to pamper their sweet cravings. Here we substitute the whites that is maida with wheat flour and refined sugar with brown sugar

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Prunes 50 grams,
  2. Dried apricots 50 grams
  3. Water 4 table spoon
  4. Chopped walnuts 25 grams
  5. Softened butter 50 grams
  6. Soft brown sugar 50 grams
  7. Egg 1 no.
  8. Whole meal flour 50 grams
  9. Baking powder 1/2 tea spoon
  10. Milk 3 table spoons

Instructions

  1. Dice the prunes and apricot into small cubes Add water to the prunes and apricot mixture
  2. Microwave this mixture for 5 minutes
  3. Arrange the prunes and apricot at the base of the ramekins
  4. Chop the walnuts and add this also to the prunes and apricot mixture
  5. Sieve the flour and baking powder together
  6. Beat the butter and brown sugar together until creamy
  7. Beats the eggs seperately until fluffy
  8. Add the beaten egg to the butter and sugar mixture, then fold in the flour
  9. Add in the milk little by little to the make the mixture to a soft dropping consistency
  10. Cover the fruit with the sponge mixture and bake for about half and hour in a pre heated oven at 180 degree centigrade
  11. Serve hot
