Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bread slices 4
  2. Paneer 1 cup
  3. onion 1 small
  4. coriander powder 1/2 tsp
  5. chilly powder 1 tsp
  6. cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  7. Amchur powder/lemon juice 1/2 tsp
  8. garam masala 1/2 tsp
  9. milk 2 tsp
  10. salt as needed
  11. butter 1 tbsp
  12. coriander leaves few (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Crumble the paneer . If using the frozen paneer then place it in hot water until it becomes soft and fresh. Remove it from water and then crumble it.
  2. Now add the onion pieces, chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, amchur powder, garam masala, milk, salt and coriander leaves. Adding milk gives moisture to the paneer mixture. Mix well and set aside.
  3. Now trim the brown part of the bread.
  4. Use a rolling pin and roll the bread slice as thin as possible. I used brown bread.
  5. take the paneer mixture and spread it in thin coating over the tolled bread. Now roll the bread tightly from one end making sure the mixture doesn't come out of the edges. Use water to seal the edges of the bread.
  6. Apply butter to the rolled bread and place it on tawa/pan. Make sure to toast it on all sides of the bread.
