ABOUT Dry Fruit Nuggets RECIPE

These tasty fudge balls made from dried fruits and nuts will make your kids super happy without them suspecting of the heathy ingredients

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Dates -1 cup
  2. Chopped almonds - 2tbsp
  3. Dry coconut, grated - 2 tbsp
  4. Raisins - 2 tbsp
  5. Poppy seeds - 2 tbsp
  6. Powdered Sugar - 1 tsp (optional)

Instructions

  1. Dry roast the poppy seeds over low heat and keep aside when they start turning brown
  2. Chop dates and grind to a paste in an electronic grinder
  3. Chop almonds/ other nuts and dry roast on a low flame for 5 minutes. Coarsely grind in a grinder and add to the ground dates
  4. Finely chop the raisins and add to the dates
  5. Dry roast the coconut on a low heat for 5 mins and add to the ground dates. Mix thoroughly and form into small balls/ nuggets with your palms
  6. Roll the nuggets in the poppy seeds so as to cover them fully
  7. Store in an airtight container
