This is very popular rajasthani recipe, i got this recipe idea from Meri Saheli magazine (9th nov 16) edition by meri saheli team.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 2 cup wheat flour
  2. 5 tsp ghee(2 tsp to make dough and remaining ghee put on top of roti while serving )
  3. 1 tsp cumin seed /Celery( roasted)
  4. 2 tsp gram flour
  5. 1 tsp Salt
  6. water/Milk to make dough


  1. Mix all ingredients and make tight dough like we prepare dough for Rajasthani bati cover it and leave it for 10 min
  2. heat roti pan on medium heat ,divide dough in 3 portion and roll out thick roti and put it on the roti pan, after 10-15 second turn your roti
  3. and make the design from your finger like pinching to roti and beautiful design came out like i did, due to this design this roti is quite crispy
  4. our roti is cooked from below side so now directly put on flame and cook it nicely and put 1tsp ghee on top of it
  5. repeat the process for all roti's and serve this crispy khoba roti with any curry
