Ingredients to make Pizza Cups

  • For Pizza Cups- 3/4 cup Whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup maida ( organic )
  • 1-2 tablespoon pure ghee or melted butter
  • Ice cold water to make a tight dough
  • salt to taste
  • For the Stuffing- 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, diced finely
  • 2 Simla mirch ( capsicum ) chopped finely
  • 2 tablespoon oil
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 2 Amul cube cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder

How to make Pizza Cups

  1. To make the pizza Cups- Add ghee to the two flours and make it like bread crumbs.
  2. Add salt and add ice cold water little by little to make a tight dough.
  3. Cover and keep it for 30 minutes.
  4. .After 30 minutes make small rounds and put in cupcake or tart moulds. Cut off the excess dough.
  5. Lightly brush with melted butter/oil
  6. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
  7. Bake the tarts/ cupcakes for about 15 minutes with both oven rods on, till the cupcakes turn golden brown and look cooked.
  8. To prepare the Stuffing- In a thick bottom pan, heat 2 tablespoon oil and add the chopped vegetables.
  9. Cook on slow flame with the lid for 5-10 minutes till they become soft.
  10. Add the salt, chilli, oregano, haldi, ketchup.
  11. Put the topping in the pizza cups and sprinkle grated cheese.
  12. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 5 minutes till the cheese melts.
