Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Medium sized potato - 4
  2. Medium size carrot -1
  3. cauliflower - 1/2 cup
  4. Green peas - 1/4 cup
  5. Finely chopped onion - 1
  6. Finely chopped green chilli 1-2
  7. Finely chopped coriander leaves
  8. lemon juice 1/2 squeezed or to taste
  9. Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
  10. salt to taste
  11. Chat masala 1 tsp
  12. White pepper to taste
  13. sugar 1/2 tsp optional
  14. Corn flour to bind the mixture say around 1 Tbsp or as required to get the tightness.
  15. Bread crumbs 1 cup
  16. chilli garlic sauce with 2 spoons of water
  17. oil for frying


  1. Pressure cook the potatoes, peel the skin and keep aside.
  2. In a separate sauce pan, par boil the carrots, peas and cauliflower until soft and tender.
  3. In a mixing bowl, add mashed potatoes and mashed veggies. Add onion, green chilli, coriander leaves, salt and pepper, chat masala, sugar, lemon juice and corn flour and mix well.
  4. Check the salt and shape them as desired.
  5. Take a wide plate, add sauce, add water and mix well and keep them ready.
  6. Once the oil is medium hot.
  7. Take a cigar and dip in the sauce.
  8. Roll it in the breadcrumbs and fry them in the medium hot oil until you get desired colour.
  9. Transfer them to paper towel to remove excess oil.
