ABOUT Instant methi matar malai RECIPE

One of my favorite dish which can be prepared in a jiffy and with ease.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup - curd
  2. 2 - Onions (Roughly Chopped)
  3. 1/2 cup - kaju
  4. 6 to 7 - green chillies
  5. Half inch ginger piece
  6. 6 to 7 - garlic cloves
  7. Sugar - 1/2 tablespoon
  8. 2 tbsp - Oil
  9. Jeera/cumin - 2 tsps
  10. Kasoori methi as per taste
  11. Salt as per taste
  12. Black pepper powder as per taste
  13. 2-3 tbsp malai
  14. 1/2 cup - boiled peas

Instructions

  1. Boil the peas and keep aside.
  2. In a kadhai heat oil and add jeera.
  3. Meanwhile in a mixer put curd, ginger, garlic, kaju, green chilies, sugar and onion. Make a fine paste. Keep aside.
  4. After the jeera put this paste in the kadhai and fry till the oil gets separated
  5. Now add in the boiled peas, kasuri methi, salt and black pepper powder. Adjust the quantity as per one's taste.
  6. Check the taste and lastly put malai for that extra richness and mix well.
